Sri Villas will be closed from 01st October 2009 to  mid December 2009 for upgrade of swimming pool.

This trio of privately owned two-storey villas is positioned on a 1/2 km stretch of beautiful, almost deserted beach, where the gardens blend seamlessly into the golden sand. Far enough away from buzzing Bentota with its shops, restaurants, bars and watersports centre to allow you all the privacy and 'away from it all' feeling you might crave, yet a ten minute journey transports you back into colourful Sri Lankan life.

The villas may be rented separately, or together for that grand family reunion or to celebrate a wedding of a lifetime. 18 guests can be comfortably accommodated in 9 rooms, but extra beds can be added for children.The villas enjoy generous living and dining areas, private kitchens and master bedroom suites with oversize en suite bathrooms.

Sri Villas offer a welcome change to the colonial style of beach villas which adorn the coastline.  The traditional style of open Australian style architecture with tall louvred doors, high ceilings and mezzanine landing for wardrobe space where subtle and encased stair lighting give a feeling of graciousness.  The wrap around verandahs set with elegantly designed seating and the friendly English speaking staff ensure your comfort at all times.  They will endeavour to fulfill any reasonable special request, indeed celebrations are their speciality, and will be happy to arrange baby sitting while parents enjoy the local nightlife.

The beach is very private and ideal for swimming November to  April.  Summer time is a bit rough but sea lovers would be excited by watching the waves. Relax on the pillared balconies and verandahs with a gin and tonic whilst watching the amazing sunset, or turn your gaze to the energetic ones in your party powering up and down the 30m lap pool in the cool evening.  The pool has steps leading to a shallow area giving safe access for the children.

Choose for yourself whether you dine inside, by the pool, on the beach or in the gardens.  At your request the staff will set up a table for you. Chef will discuss menus with you daily or weekly and tailor meals to your preferences, buying fresh ingredients each day from local markets.  This is the time to indulge in delicious fresh sea food, try traditional Sri Lankan curries, or experiment with a varierty of Asian or international dishes. 

As two of the villas have a full kitchen particular foods may be stored or prepared for special diets or faddy children.  Nearby Bentota has a wide selection of shops stocking many 'western' foods, toiletries and medicines.
