An extensive renovation programme has brought this 135yr old British owned home into the 21st century, whilst restoring its attractive 19th The bungalow, only 40-60mins drive from the wonderful beaches of the south-west, bustling Colombo and a short day trip to historic Galle, is enclosed within 2acres of landscaped gardens, highlighted by exotic highly scented flowers orchids and tropical fruit trees.
The gardens include a tennis court for those with energy left after enjoying a A cool, spacious, central sitting room is the perfect place for pre-dinner drinks, or an after dinner chat with fellow guests. Browse the library, exercise your mind with a game of chess, or just sit.

This elegant, colonial plantation home is nestled high on a 50 acre working rubber and tea estate with amazing views of the surrounding mountains, the Kalu river and the distant sea.

In the lower gardens a magnificent swimming pool has been carved out of the natural rock of the hillside. Wallow in the cool water, power up and down or just drink in the amazing views, with perhaps a strutting peacock or noisy mynah bird in the foreground.
