Enter the house over a bridge of railway sleepers, above a trickling water feature. The house is designed for comfort, so be a 'barefoot contessa' and enjoy the cool polished floors. The sitting room is spacious and airy and decorated with great style in black, white and sharp citrus colours. The white walls and black floor show off dark, but not oppressive furniture, large windows overlooking the sea and gardens and luxurious hand made sofas set with colourful cushions. A scattering of foliage plants enliven the corners.
For those seeking entertainment aside from the natural beauty of Sri Lanka, a stereo with bose speakers and i-pod connection allows you to enjoy your own music or chose from a selection of CDs, and the master bedroom comes complete with DVD player and satellite TV should you need to remain connected to the 'real world'.
Only 10mins. from historic Galle, there is plenty of interest when you tire of reading or idling in the garden, but consider strolling down to the beach gate and watching the sunset from the delightful and unusual seating under the shady palms. Only the steward lives in - he has his own self contained quarters - but you will also be cared for by a daily help and a night watchman

This newly built beach villa - the word 'hut' doesn't even come close - sits within a sand and grass garden which leads seamlessly through a private gate onto the beach and ocean. A truly idyllic spot for a stress free holiday for a couple or small family. The generous swimming pool and plentiful sun beds are just for you - no threatening towels placed proprietorially at dawn.
The dining area sits well in the open plan arrangement and the table can be moved to wherever suits.
